Crostino with multigrain taralli, mushrooms in oil and prawns

What better choice for a quick and tasty appetizer, the crostino. So versatile and perfect in a thousand different ways, including with multigrain tarallini!
This may sound strange to you, but as is usually said, try it to believe it.

  • Bread: 10 slices.
  • Mushrooms in olive oil: 200 gr.
  • Prawn tails: 200 g (edible raw)
  • Extra virgin oil: qty.
  • Black pepper: qty.

DIFFICULTY

METHOD

1. Cut the bread into small slices, add a drizzle of oil to the pan and toast for about 2 minutes.

2. Take the mushrooms in oil and drain them to remove excess oil.

3. Place the prawns in a bowl and add a few drops of lemon and black pepper; toss well.

4. Place the bread on a plate, put first a mushroom and then a prawn on it. Then use a toothpick to stop them on the bread.

5. Add a multigrain tarallino, another mushroom with prawn, and if you can one last tarallino to top it off.

6. Garnish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

A different use of both taralli and toothpicks, don't you think?

Tips

Of course, you can also use our Wholemeal friselline (small pieces of toasted bread) instead of bread, and another type of tarallino to give a stronger flavor. Serve with a good wine and...Enjoy!
